Article 13 of the Spanish Public Sector Contracts Law (LCSP) defines works contracts as those whose object is one of the following: • The execution of a work, which may be carried out separately or jointly with the drafting of the project (If the project is carried out jointly with the execution of the work, it will form part of the works contract; if it is carried out separately, its preparation will constitute a services contract -Article 314.1-). or The performance of any of the tasks listed in Annex I of the Law. • The execution, by any means, of a work that meets the requirements established by the contracting entity and that, in addition, has a decisive influence on the type or project of the work.
