Resin: Common options include polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy resin. Release Agent: Use a mold release wax or PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) to prevent the part from sticking to the mold. Mold or Plug: Decide whether you’ll use an existing hatch as a plug or create a mold from scratch. Gelcoat: Apply gelcoat to the mold for a smooth surface finish.
