Ma quête de fraîcheur dans la Creuse et les Pierres Jaumâtres

Today, I'm taking you on a road trip through the Creuse region, in search of coolness in the heart of nature. With this heatwave, the goal is simple: to find pleasant places to visit and shady spots where we can enjoy the summer without suffering from the heat. On the agenda: discovering the mysterious Pierres Jaumâtres, an impressive granite chaos where enormous boulders seem to balance precariously in an almost surreal setting. I then continue my getaway to the Reyberie pond, a haven of peace ideal for parking the van in the shade of the trees. Nearby, a small wood offers lovely opportunities for walks with Ritchie, much appreciated in these high temperatures. This stop will also be a chance to meet up with Nadia, a fellow van traveler I met this winter during my trip to Spain and Portugal. A lovely moment of sharing between van life enthusiasts, in a particularly pleasant natural setting. So sit back, relax, and come discover this refreshing escape in the heart of the Creuse with us! 🌿🚐☀️
