Death Row Records was untouchable. The music, the artists, the power nothing in hip hop came close. Legendary Gangsta Rap era adn artists like Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and the most feared man in hip hop at the time Suge Knight. However it all crumbled after 2pac got killed in 1996, and Suge Knight went to jail in 1997. After almost 5 years served Suge was back on the streets but Death Row Records was in ruins.He rebranded the record label under the name Tha Row got new talent most notably Crooked I and Eastwod. Death Row still ahd some money but Suge Knight just couldnt leave his old habits and his gang mentality which ultimately led to his demise. The world moved on but Suge kept living in the 90s, the new generation took over and Death Row was slowly fading away with many financial problems lawsuits and other headaches which pillled up and destroyed Suge and his record label in the end.
