Fredrik Backman in Conversation with Amy Jo Burns: A Book Brunch event

Author Fredrik Backman will discuss "The Winners," his recently published third installment to the "Beartown" trilogy, as well his other novels with moderator Amy Jo Burns. In addition, "Anxious People," the upcoming selection for the Mayors Wellness Book Club, and "A Man Called Ove," being released as a film starring Tom Hanks on Jan. 13, will also be a focus of the discussion. Fredrik Backman is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of "A Man Called Ove," "My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry," "Britt-Marie Was Here," "Beartown," "Us Against You," "The Winners" and "Anxious People." He also wrote two novellas and one work of nonfiction. His books are published in more than 40 countries. He lives in Stockholm, Sweden, with his wife and two children.
