Porsche M96 / M97 3-Chain Cam Timing
Lee runs through installing and timing the camshafts on M96 / M97 3-chain engine. You'll need Porsche Special Tools P9685 (holds Inlet Cam locknut) and P9686 (holds cams with M8 thread on end of head). Lee uses P9611 to hold the middle of the cams but this is not essential on the 3-chain engine. Don't forget to install the IMS chain tensioner next to the oil filter before starting this job if it's not already in place. Always turn the crank clockwise.
