INSANE NBA Trades are happening...
#nba The NBA offseason is here and it's time to talk about the most desirable trade targets in the league. In this video I break down the players who should be on the move this summer and where they might end up. First up is Domantas Sabonis. The Kings are desperate to start fresh and couldn't even get a first round pick for him at the deadline. He's coming off a knee injury but at 30 years old with two years left on his deal, some team is going to take a chance on a starting center who can stretch the floor, rebound, and run pick and roll all game long. Then we get into Ja Morant, the coldest name on the trade market right now. After suspensions, public criticism of his coaches, and the statistically worst season of his career, the Grizzlies need him out of the building. I break down why a swap with the Pelicans for Jordan Poole might be the move for both teams. If you're a team that actually needs a point guard, Kyrie Irving is the real answer. He's fully healed from his ACL tear and ready to contribute to a contender, but the Mavs are rebuilding around Cooper Flagg. I explain why the Timberwolves are the most likely destination and what a Julius Randle deal might look like. Of course we have to talk about Giannis Antetokounmpo trades again. After ten videos on the subject he still hasn't been moved, and with a supermax extension on the table in October, Bucks fans better hope something happens before he signs on the dotted line and locks in four more years. Kawhi Leonard is next. The Clippers say they want to win with Kawhi but I think that's GM talk. He's in the exact same spot he was before the Toronto trade, one year left and ready to be a basketball mercenary for somebody. I lay out why the Warriors should send Jimmy Butler and the 11th pick to get him. Then there's the hottest name on the block, Trey Murphy. He's a 21 point per game scorer on a cheap contract who fits on every team in the league. The Pelicans say they won't trade him but GMs lie, and I think we're going to see a Desmond Bane or Mikal Bridges style return. The Thunder have seven tradeable first round picks and nobody can outbid them. Finally I close with a sneaky trade target nobody is talking about. Everyone is focused on Jaylen Brown leaving Boston, but Derrick White is the guy teams should actually be calling about. A lot of smart people think he's an all star in a glue guy role on a smaller contract, and the right team could bring him in and change their whole culture. Which team do you think should trade for Derrick White? Drop your ideas in the comments because I don't have any. Like the video and subscribe for more NBA trade talk all offseason long.
