I took white, ocher + white and caramel. You need to cut them into small pieces, then connect them again and twist them a little so that thin strips of different colors appear. After that, I passed a piece of clay 3 times through the pasta machine to make the transition between colors smoother. I cut polymer clay into strips 2 mm thick for the first basket and 1 mm for the second basket with a preview photo. You can also texture the clay a little before cutting with your toothbrush. Then I weave the basket in the usual way, cut off the excess pieces and bend to shape. I chose a 1x1x0.5 cm square. I made it myself from several pieces of cardboard and glue. For convenience, I glued a wooden stick to the square. It was very hot today, so to prevent the clay from sticking, I periodically covered it with a thin layer of baby powder. I baked the basket and the handle separately, glued them on, covered the seams with soft clay, hid the wire and baked them again.
