Julio Rojas - De la idea al guion: Reglas para capturar el caos

Guest Speaker: Julio Rojas Lecture Title: From Idea to Screenplay: Rules for Capturing Chaos Presenter: Fernando Morales Date: August 30, 2022 "From Idea to Screenplay: Rules for Capturing Chaos" is the title of the lecture that Julio Rojas, Chilean writer, professor, and screenwriter, will give as part of a new Open Lecture Series in Homage to Roberto Bolaño (UDP Open Lecture Series), this coming Tuesday, August 30, at 3:00 p.m., in our Television Studio. Rojas, who is also a coordinator and director of content for television channels and production companies, has directed the feature films "The Life of Fish" (2012), "The Memory of Water" (2016), and "In Your Skin" (2018), for which he has received awards for best screenplay at the Havana International Film Festival, the Pedro Sienna Award, and the Wikén Magazine Award, among others. In addition, he has written series such as the recent "The Shelter" (2022) and "The End of the Metaverse" (2022), and the successful podcast "Case 63" (2020), which has been adapted into Portuguese and Hindi, and whose upcoming English version will feature performances by Julianne Moore and Oscar Isaac. The presentation will be given by Fernando Morales, professor at the UDP School of Journalism and editor of Vergara 240.
