For the third leg of our 3-day, 2-night trip to Tottori and Okayama, we checked out of the Mercure Tottori Daisen Resort & Spa and headed to Daisen-ji Temple. Even though it was March 21st, there was still snow on the temple grounds, and the approach to the temple was so deep that we gave up on visiting the temple this time. Next, we went to Mizonokuchi Observation Parking Lot, where you can see the Oni's Toilet and Oni's Telephone Box. As the name suggests, Mizonokuchi Observation Parking Lot is a parking lot where you can get a full view of Mt. Daisen. After enjoying the snowy landscape of Mt. Daisen, we went to the Tottori Flower Corridor. The observation corridor covers a total area of ​​50 hectares and is about 1 km long, so you can enjoy the flowers without an umbrella even on rainy days. Unfortunately, we didn't visit at a good time, so we weren't able to see many flowers, but we still enjoyed it. For lunch, we had "hana chirashi" (flower chirashi) scattered with flowers at the restaurant here. Afterwards, they stop off at Oku-Daisen Roadside Station, Shimokaya Dam, and Kaze-no-Ie Roadside Station in Hiruzen, Okayama Prefecture. I hope this video will be of some help to you when you travel.
