Life in Christ is always a “by grace through faith” journey. What does that mean? The question is: are we going to trust and rely on Christ and His Word, or are we going to trust and rely on ourselves? Our walk with Jesus is meant to be a journey of grace, not just a checklist of things we do. In Galatians 2, Paul calls out the trap of trying to earn our standing with God, showing us that real life happens when we stop relying on ourselves and just lean into His finished work. Galatians 2:20-21 (ESV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
