It was, instead, a strikingly clear example of the fragile male ego in action. But what does that term - fragile male ego - actually mean? Why is it such a common phenomenon? And what can be done about it? In this video, I explore how rejected feelings of shame, fear, confusion, weakness, and general vulnerability in men lead to defensive aggression. I argue that can men strengthen their egos - and therefore cause less harm in the world - by embracing, rather than denying, their 'unmasculine' vulnerabilities.
