Why does the Serbian community in the north of Kosovo leave?
A series of snap elections that failed to produce a political agreement between rival parties has left Kosovo facing prolonged political uncertainty. For the Serbian community in Kosovo, the choice is limited to just two political lists one backed by Belgrade and the other by Pristina. While politicians compete for seats in parliament, many residents in northern Kosovo, where Serbs form the majority, are quietly leaving searching for better opportunities and a more stable future elsewhere.
