Maryland Purple Line: Test Run
The Purple Line is a 16-mile, 21-station light rail line under construction in the U.S. state of Maryland, running between New Carrollton and Bethesda. Though not scheduled to open until 2027, half of the line is fully completed, and all 28 CAF-built vehicles have been delivered. So we went to the future Beacon Heights station to see a set testing.
