The Slaws drive Winnats Pass in a motorhome, pitch in Hope and walk the Great Ridge to Mam Tor.

The Slaw’s spend the weekend in the Peak District in Helga their Hobby motorhome. Staying at Laneside Caravan Park in Hope. Evening meal and drinks at The Old Hall in Hope on the Friday. On Saturday we embarked on a nine mile walk with our Lhasa Apso dogs Billy and Jessie. The walk took us from Hope to Lose Hill. Along the great ridge via Back Tor and Hollins Cross to Mam Tor. Then back down the Broken Road and along Odin Stitch to Castleton. A Jolly afternoon was had at The George Under a marquee in the rain. The food and beverages were excellent and the staff were very attentive. It was a dark muddy walk from Castleton through the fields to Hope and back to the motorhome.
