London Wildlife Photography | The Grace of Deer
Welcome back to my channel. Today I'm sharing something different – my recent wildlife photography in London's parks, focusing on the beautiful deer that inhabit these urban green spaces. As you know, I typically create minimalist landscapes using long exposure techniques. Switching to wildlife photography challenged me in unexpected ways. Instead of carefully composing static scenes, I found myself constantly adjusting settings and position as the deer moved through changing light conditions. Despite these differences, I discovered my minimalist approach still had a place. I looked for clean backgrounds, used negative space effectively, and sought those perfect moments when a deer would pause, creating a simple, powerful silhouette against the landscape. The early morning mist in London's parks created the perfect atmospheric conditions that complemented my aesthetic. While my heart remains with minimalist landscapes, these wildlife excursions have sharpened my observation skills in ways that will enhance all my photography. Join me as I navigate this exciting challenge, blending my minimalist style with the unpredictable beauty of wildlife. Let me know what you think in the comments—should I continue exploring wildlife photography?
