Trump and Iran Sign Tentative Peace Deal to End War and Reopen Strait of Hormuz

Peace on the horizon in the Middle East? President Trump, Vice President Vance, and Iran's Parliamentary Speakers have virtually signed a memorandum of understanding, outline peace deal between The U.S. and Iran. A formal signing of the deal is expected Friday at a ceremony in Geneva. No text of the deal has been released yet, but a 60-day ceasefire is already in effect, during which nuclear talks will take place. Once the formal agreement is signed, the Strait of Hormuz is expected to reopen, and the U.S. Naval blockade lifted.
