The black spacer is NOT for the filter mount, it is to use with the Uni crankcase filter as a spacer to allow it to be mounted on the unused thread underneath the intake pipe, above the throttle body. See the product pics on the MNNTHBX site for reference. In hindsight, I still would have done it the way I did because I didn't want this filter exposed, and would rather it be hidden.
