P&O Cruises, part of the Carnival Corporation for the past 20 years, remains a quintessentially British brand. The initials P&O stand for Peninsular and Oriental, reflecting the company’s full name from 1840, though their history stretches even further back! As Britain’s largest cruise line, P&O operates out of their home port in Southampton, although they also offer fly-cruises to various global destinations. Their fleet includes family-friendly ships like Arvia, Iona, Britannia, Azura, and Ventura, as well as adult-only options such as Arcadia and Aurora.
