Rod Packing Assembly of a Reciprocating Gas Compressor

Hello everyone, Today you will see the assembly of PCA(Packing Cup Assembly) This is a High Pressure side Rod Packing Assembly of Kirloskar Pneumatic 1200SCMH Gas Compressor. Compressor Model No: CFA32 Motor Rating: 160Kw/215HP Flow Rate: 1200SCMH Output Pressure: 240bar Rod Packing Assembly: This prevents the gas from compression area from entering the crankcase. It's consists of 5cups, the No of Cups depends on the types of the rings. The Rings primarily used are Pressure Ring P-RING), BTR Ring(Backup Ring), B/D Ring, Oil Scrapper or RTV Ring. Each Cups hold the rings in the following order from 1st Cup to 5th Cup 1. P-Ring 2. BTR Ring 3. BTR Ring 4. BTR Ring 5. BTR Ring 6. Oil Scrapper. The cup is assembled on 3 studs shown in the video.
