This Bandish in Raag Puriya - "Piya Gunavanta" reflects the gayaki of Khansaheb Abdul Karim Khan which greatly inspired Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. This recording is all about the Khansaheb's side of Kirana Gharana which many Kirana Gayak lack in their gayaki. After Puriya we have Khamaj Thumri - "Hamare Toh Nahi Bane Giridhari" and ends with Bhairavi Thumri - "Ras Ke Bhare Tore Nain, Sawariya".
