The Northern Vietnam You Don't See 🇻🇳 MAI CHAU

Mai Châu has got to be Northern Vietnam's greatest hidden gem. We got the local bus from Hanoi for 90,000 VND to Mai Châu in North Western Vietnam. Mai Chau and this region of Vietnam is pretty much unexplored and you rarely see of hear of people travelling here. They tend to choose the popular destinations of Sapa or Ha giang instead which is a shame! I give a quick Homestay tour before cycling through the stunning Vietnamese countrysides into Mai Chau Town for some local food. While in town we also found a cute puppy and had some fresh vietnamese spring rolls with a lemon juice. Then we had to cycle back to our Homestay in complete darkness as there are no lights in the Rural vietnamese countryside!
