In this chapter there are poems of two poets, one is National Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar and the other is Mahakavi Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Dinkar's poem Parashuram's Updesh mentions the fire of patriotism and love for the country. After China's attack on India, many Indians were disappointed and hopeless thinking that we will lose this war and will become slaves of China. In this situation, Dinkar wrote this poem to ignite the fire of patriotism in which he asks the countrymen to sacrifice everything for patriotism. The second poem is Kya Bhooloon Kya Yaad Karoon by Harivansh Rai Bachchan ji. After the death of Bachchan ji's wife, he became very sad and went into depression. In that trouble and in the memory of his wife, he wrote this poem Kya Bhooloon Kya Yaad Karoon. In it, he says that just like there are both happy and sad moments in my life, similarly both happiness and sorrow keep coming and going in every person's life and we should not remember either of these. Happy moments also trouble us and sad moments also trouble us.
