When discussing Belgrade's underground rivers, it might seem like there's nothing special about the Serbian capital's tangled network of underground sewers. It's pretty much the same as in any other major city in any other country. But no. Some sewers could easily be called underground palaces, while others feel like you've entered a nightmare... Today, we'll visit two Belgrade stormwater drainage systems. One is a main sewer system built to collect rainwater from several districts of the Serbian capital and divert it into the Sava River. It's impressive in its sheer size and the quality of its construction.
