Queen is an English rock band formed in 1970 in London by guitarist Brian May, singer Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor, joined by bassist John Deacon in 1971. With dozens of hits in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, Queen is one of the most successful rock bands in history. The band is known for its musical versatility and powerful live performances. The performance at Live Aid in 1985 was voted the best live performance of all time 20 years later. It is estimated that the band has sold more than 300 million albums worldwide, making them one of the most successful bands in the world. Arranger Jan van Kraeydonck wrote an impressive medley featuring some of their biggest hits: ‘The Show Must Go On’, ‘A Kind Of Magic’, ‘Too Much Love Will Kill You’, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ and the mighty ‘We Will Rock You’. This medley is available for concert band, fanfare and brass band.
