My last motorbike lap on the Nürburgring Nordschleife 😢 - 7:55 BTG w. traffic - 1996 Kawasaki ZX-7R

A fantastic "full send" lap with my old Kawasaki ZX-7R through the traffic on the Nürburgring Nordschleife (Touristenfahrten 20.09.2024). Despite the many hold ups, the lap was great and also quick! I think without the hold ups it would be something around 7:50-7:49 BTG. Probably one of the last if not THE last lap of the season... A bit sad, but after the season is before the season :) Maybe there will be a few more nice days in October before we finally head towards winter. We will see. Update 2025: Now that the Nürburgring has kicked us bikers off the tourist rides, it looks like this was obviously my last lap of the Nordschleife on a motorcycle. I can't put my sadness into words....😢 I also have absolutely no understanding for this kind of radical change! The fact that they want to separate us from the cars is one thing that can still be understood. I am ok with that. But to simply throw us out without replacement and then refer us to the GP track or track days (with no free riding and only 2x per year) is not right/fair! In the meantime, all the poorly maintained junk cars from all countries continue to drive on the track and lose their oil and cooling water....why not ban them too?! It remains an unfair decision, period!
