1971 1973 Mustang - The History, Features, Models, & Options

The 1971 through 1973 Mustang. It is one of the most polarizing car designs in Mustang history. Bunkie Knudsen Ford’s new president and former Pontiac executive had his hands all over the styling of this car. Knudsen felt that a larger car at the roughly same price offered value to the customer and Knudsen wanted to deliver for Ford Motor Co in a big way. Knudsen was let go in September of 1969 a full year prior to this car release however the dies had been cast in a very literal way and this car was going to be built as he envisioned it should be. Today we take a look at the 1971 through 1973 Ford Mustang. One disclaimer We covered the Boss 351 in an earlier video so we will not be covering it in today’s video.
