This improvement indirectly affects other subject-detection-based functions, such as background selection and background blur. Also noteworthy is the long-awaited new duplicate detection feature, which allows you to locate repeated photos in the catalog, group them into stacks, choose which one to keep as the original, hide false duplicates, and delete excess copies from the catalog or disk.
