Egusi Soup (melon seeds soup) featuring tomato paste for a luscious look and great taste

The first time i experienced Egusi soup cooked with Tomato paste, i was in my early Teens and my neighbor was hosting a big village meeting in the compound. Traditionally, teenagers were always asked to go help the older women with the cooking. That day i saw them add tomato paste and when i tasted the soup, it was far tastier than whatever i have tasted before.
