A Sunday Drive Through The Community Of Wallins Creek, Ky
Had so much fun driving around the county, decided to do one more Sunday drive video with you all this week. This week we drive through the town of Wallins creek, Ky. Once a large coal mining town with plenty of hustle and bustle, it is now a quiet shadow of it's former self. Boasting such milestones as the first shipment of coal by rail out of Harlan County from the county's first large scale mine to mines owned by the famed Henry Ford at his Banner Fork operations, this town has had a rich history and has been a very important part of Harlan County since its founding. So let's hop in the old Dodge truck, buckle your seat belt, don't forget that big cup of sweet tea, and lets head out and explore the town of Wallins.
