Long Term REVIEW DIY RC TROLLING KAYAK MOTOR 2025

Hey guys! Here is my long term review on the wireless kayak motor equipped with steering review. It has been close to 12 month of consistent use and I have encounter serval problems but I have found ways to work around, repair and what do to do! Here are the dot points I wrote down • intermittent half power on start up • updated bottom steering block • remote lasting 4 hours • after roughly 5-10 minutes connection drops between motor and ESC • I've completely submerged remote it still works fine, speaker was intermittently working before being submerged. • no spot lock • unable to retract motor easily • kill switch • monitoring temperature As I said at the end of the video the motors are made to order!! Depending on how many order I get and how consistent the orders are I may even start having some of the motors competed and in stock! PRICE- Price is going to vary around $1000 AUD At the end of the day this is a 24lb motor that costs around $180 NOTE there is no warranty on these motors, before they're shipped out the will be tested by myself in Ross river (freshwater) these motors are not store bought quality or made by massive factory. I will be personally building, soldering, shaping, cutting, drilling, adhering, the motors on my desk in my shed. These motors are specifically designed for fisherman, I would not recommend travelling long-distances UNLESS you have a BMS and are frequently stopping allowing the ESC to cool down. Long distances with no break will cause early ESC failure. CUSTOM- as for custom request I am able to change the colour of the down light to suit your needs or we can possibly add a low current item to use with the other channels on your remote.
