A note about old 8mm film reels: Many film reels have had a long and sometimes rough life. For 40 to 70 years, they were stored in attics, cellars, or closets, and not always in dry conditions – places that are rather unsuitable for film. Even at the time of its inception, 8mm wasn't a particularly high-quality film format, but rather practical and inexpensive. Even modern digitization equipment can't conjure up new quality from a poor original. Even artificial intelligence occasionally has to admit defeat here. For the best viewing experience, a small screen like a mobile phone or tablet is recommended – because it won't look any better on a large television. A note about the music: "I know that not everyone likes every music choice – and that's perfectly okay 😊 With over 20 million songs on Epidemic Sound, choosing the right one can sometimes be real detective work. Music is, after all, a matter of taste. Luckily, everyone can decide for themselves how loud it should be on YouTube – that's what the volume control is for 😉" 🔸🔸 I've spent a lot of time, passion, and unfortunately, a fair amount of money tracking down and digitizing every "private" 8mm film treasure here. I don't want any money from you – but a quick comment, a like, or a share helps a lot!
