Writtle goat climbing structure - enclosure walkthrough

When we design a build, either for us to construct or for a team build to put together, we really push both the budget and what we think the team can achieve, in order to give as much as possible to the animals who will benefit from it. In this build at Writtle University College we wanted to give the goats an awesome climbing structure, complete with trip-trap bridge, stepping stones and a new type of feeder, all while having a plan for how it could be expanded in the future. The feeder was designed to allow a single bale of hay to be loaded in from the top. The positioning means that the goats have to feed from underneath the platform, as well as needing to get on top to reach the rest. It works great!
