The reason why we started our You Tube channel is to share the charm of Rikuzentakata with as many people as possible. When I moved to Rikuzentakata, I found that it is a place with many events for adults and children alike, and that the philosophy of "normalization" is practiced through activities involving volunteers, NPOs, and the community as a whole, where people can enjoy themselves together and no one is left out. When I experienced these things myself, I felt a strong sense of mission to preserve and convey this in video, and in the summer of 2023, I began filming, editing, and using social networking services as an amateur. The purpose of this channel is to provide viewers with a pseudo-experience of Rikuzentakata by conveying the charm of Rikuzentakata through video, and to get them interested in Rikuzentakata.
