Today, we’re going to go through the electrical system on our Yamaha ATV and see if we can identify the problem. We’ll check the battery to make sure it’s good first, then we’ll dive in and check out the charging system on the YFZ. We’ll test the stator first, and then we’ll move to the regulator rectifier to see if we can identify the problem. Once we determine that the problem is with the regulator rectifier, John will show you how to easily change out the unit.
