Animal Taxonomy Summit 2026 - Day 1

The Animal Taxonomy Summit–2026 marks the fourth consecutive annual edition organized by ZSI. This year’s summit brings together more than 500 eminent scientists, scholars, and delegates from different institutes across the country. Over the next two days, participants will engage in 10 technical panel discussion sessions and poster presentations revolving around three core themes: Taxonomy, Systematics, and Faunal Diversity and Conservation. The strategic recommendations arising from these deliberations will be formally submitted to the Government of India to shape future conservation policies.
