Dr. David Paul - Wisdom From a Legend.

It is with great sadness that I inform you that Dr. David Paul has passed away this morning. David was 68 years old. I am trying to make sense of his passing. It is only a few months ago that we had a great banter at the IX Show in London. David gave an animated speech about the habits of profitable traders. I met David in 2006. There was something about him, which was just magical. He was all Zen on the outside, but on the inside, he had a fire like you rarely see. It came out from time to time when you saw him on stage, and he wanted to make an important point. When David spoke, you paid attention. The beauty of David was his total devotion to the power of now. He lived in the moment, and he preached it. Every time he would take to the stage or give a web seminar, it felt as if it was the first time, he ever gave that talk. Whenever he was with you, it was as if you were the most important thing - in fact, the only thing in his world. David would not want us to fuzz over him. I can hear him say “just stay in this present moment, and all will be well”. The show must go on, and it will, but it will be with a lasting memory of our friend, our “twice a day in the gym” health enthusiast, our “Presbyterian Preacher on Stage”, our mentor, our ever-lasting source of trading wisdom, our “the doc”, our everybody’s Dr. David Paul. Oh Captain, My Captain – I will miss you. We will miss you. Rest In Peace ❤️
