Intended audience: Climate Action organisations, Policymakers, Merton Council, Schools and youth groups, Local residents, BAME communities, · National climate inclusion specialists BAME VOICE (MERTON) BAME VOICE is a collective of 15 organizations aimed at supporting Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities in Merton, England. Formed in 2016, its mission is to support BAME organizations and communities in influencing policy and strategies that affect their lives, particularly in impoverished East Merton, where most BAME residents live. The organization focuses on capacity building, appointing BAME representatives to strategic boards, and working collaboratively with local agencies in coordinating various services and activities to promote equality of opportunity and foster understanding among the diverse backgrounds in Merton.
