Elton John - The Day Bobby Went Electric (with Lyrics!)

A rare demo of a as-yet unreleased Elton John-Bernie Taupin song. Taupin wrote these lyrics years ago (back inthe 80s?) and evidentally after previous unsatisfactory attemps, Elton finally finished the song. I'm guessing this recording comes from the "Songs from the West Coast" sessions in 2000-2001, but I don't know.... I've also done my best with the lyrics, but I welcome any corrections you might have! The biggest correction in the lyrics should be "Ibiza" (not Dabitha). Ibiza (oprounounced "Ibitha") is an island off of Spain (where Dylan has a house or something I guess.....) In any case - A Great Elton John-Bernie Taupin song about the controversy when Bob Dylan went from acoustic folk singer to electric guitar-playing rocker in 1965.
