🌍OBJETIVO: SUPERBACTERIAS. ¿Qué podemos hacer ante las resistencia a los antibióticos?

Although antibiotics have been essential for treating bacterial infections for decades, their misuse is leading to bacteria that no longer respond to these medications. Every year, resistant bacteria cause hundreds of thousands of deaths worldwide, and if we don't act, we could face a future where common infections are untreatable. In this colloquium, we will explore why this resistance occurs, how it affects our health, and what we can do, both institutionally and through our daily choices, to prevent this problem from growing. Participants: Bruno González-Zorn. Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. Director of the Antibiotic Resistance Unit (ARU). Advisor to the World Health Organization (WHO) on antibiotic resistance from a One Health perspective. Cristiana Teixeira Justo. Coordination Unit of the National Plan against Antibiotic Resistance (PRAN), Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS). Estefanía Romero Rodríguez.
