Qodosen SR-286 simply astounding on MW, compared to XHDATA D-808 and Tecsun PL-368 #tef6686

This is my first proper long-distance comparison of the Qodosen SR-286 and other radios on MW. Here where I live in Johannesburg, South Africa, MW conditions are not so good in summer, there are many thunder and lightning storms. The weather is cooling down now as we are heading for winter, so MW signals are coming through more regularly and clearly now. This is a comparison of the Qodosen SR-286, the XHDATA D-808 and the Tecsun PL-368 on two distant signals. One is Emissor Provincial do Niassa from Lichinga, Mozambique (1600 km, 1000 miles). The other is Vesti FM from Grigoriopol, Moldova, in Eastern Europe (8700 km, 5400 miles). Vesti FM is a Russian station that broadcasts on both FM and MW. I use the the Tecsun AN-200 loop antenna on all three radios. The Tecsun, like the Qodosen, can use external MW antennas, so I plug the loop directly into the MW antenna input on both these. I think the Qodosen is a MW marvel. It far outperforms both the other radios, using the same antenna. The Qodosen is very good on shortwave and really pulls in weak signals, but on MW it is more than good, it really excels. This is a wonderful radio for MW DXing. I recorded the sound digitally via the earphone jacks on all three radios, into the Tecsun ICR-110. Video and audio then synced afterwards.
