I apologize for taking so long to upload, with work and life, it just takes me way tooo long to edit these videos. This video will be taking you through the pros/con of both urgent care medicine and aesthetics as a physician assistant. Pros of urgent care: ⁃ Keep a general knowledge of medicine in both acute and chronic care ⁃ You only have pertinent follow up with patients (related to chief complaint) ⁃ You leave the work, at work, and don’t take any charting home Cons of urgent care: ⁃ Typically understaffed/overworked ⁃ Typically work weekends/holidays Pros of aesthetics: ⁃ Good vibes working in a medical spa ⁃ Patients are happy ⁃ It is fun to inject! Cons of aesthetics: ⁃ As a new injector, it is difficult to obtain a clientele ⁃ The anxiety associated with injecting (your putting a needle in someone’s face)
