This management can reduce chick mortality in the first few days and greatly facilitate the routine of those who care for them daily. Profitable chicken farming starts in the brooder. It's no use having good genetics, quality fertile eggs, a regulated incubator, if the chick arrives in an inadequate structure and loses the first few weeks in poor conditions. The basis of raising ornamental birds — traditional balloon chicken, giant Indian, naked neck — is in the first 45 days. And the environment of these first days defines how much of that chick will remain in the flock. This brooder is still a prototype. There are things to improve, some doors don't open properly, and height adjustments still need to be made.
