Bahnschwellen-Schreddern mit Leichtigkeit! Der INVENTHOR 6 Plus im Test

Today we show you how the INVENTHOR 6 Plus shreds railway sleepers with ease. Our machine proved itself during a customer visit and we are delighted with the results! The requirements were clearly defined: To separate the metal fittings from the railway sleepers and to shred the main fraction, waste wood, to a grain size of 0 - 350 mm. Our machine was perfectly equipped for this task: The railway sleepers we process are fitted with metal fittings and weigh about 120 kg per sleeper, of which 20 kg is iron. The INVENTHOR 6 Plus is equipped with a robust 15-tooth shaft and special, hard-faced L 150 shaft teeth. No limiters have been installed for this application. In addition, we have used a 2t overband magnet to separate the metal from the sleepers. The results are impressive! Our machine easily shreds an average of 350 railway sleepers per hour, which corresponds to a capacity of 42 tonnes per hour. In the process, 7 tonnes of metal (20 kg of iron per railway sleeper) are efficiently separated and discharged. The fuel consumption is only 25 litres per hour.
