Bellman & Symfon Flash Receiver Recall - Auslan with Subtitles

Some Bellman Flash Receiver lights (model number BE1442) used with the Bellman Visit System have a problem with the battery backup. This affects Flash Receivers were sold between June 2016 and December 2019. The Flash Receiver battery backup might not work if there is a fire and the power goes off. The Flash Receiver will not alert you or activate the bed shaker. Your Visit Smoke Detector will still make a noise. To check if your Flash Receiver is affected go on the internet to bellman.com/recall. You will need the serial number for your flash receiver, which is on a barcode on the bottom of the Flash Receiver box, or remove the screw on the battery compartment under the flash receiver and removing the batteries. Flash Receiver Serial Numbers start with BE1442 followed by 9 numbers. If your Flash Receiver is part of this recall, you will need to put your name, address, telephone number and email into the online form. If your unit is not eligible, you don't need to do anything, the battery backup in your flash is not affected.
