St. Boniface (c. 675–754) was an English Benedictine monk known as the "Apostle of the Germans". Commissioned by the Pope, he spent his life evangelizing and organizing the Church in the pagan regions of central Europe, eventually becoming the Archbishop of Mainz before being martyred in Frisia. Every day in the traditional liturgical calendar, a different feast is celebrated of Jesus, Mary, or the saints. Every feast has its own dedicated "propers" of the Mass: selected verses from the Bible set to Gregorian Chant music. Every day of this year, Raya will choose one of the allotted Gregorian chants and sing them for you.
