Injured-training for a backpacking trip
As an older outdoors person I am aware of my increased need to train and prepare more before heading out on an adventure.I frequently do day hikes but no over night hikes in14 years. I established a training schedule 2 months in advance and progressed well until10 days before my departure date.A fall left me shaken, bruised and sore. I needed to heal, regain my strength and my confidence . I feel I am now ready to go. #hiking #backpacking #womenempowerment
