Far & Wild spend the day at Goal50 Edu Hub - Ramming tyres!

On Freedom Day 2026, we hosted Far & Wild from the United Kingdom, at Goal50 Edu Hub, in Heideveld Cape Town! The team at Far & Wild came to learn about our Waste To Wonder Campaign, and they were able to experience the transformation of waste (tyres, eco-bricks, film-set waste bricks, and glass-bottles) into world-class facilities! Goal50 Edu hub has phases that are complete & others that are under construction, making it the perfect environment to learn about the building modality. The main activity of the day was learning how to ram tyre walls with building rubble - a fundamental part of the building process. Each tyre would be rammed with 200 kilogrames of building rubble, ensuring the rigidity of the structure.
