THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM GOD! #15 Mystery defined by Webster’s dictionary= 1. Something not understood or beyond understanding: enigma 2. Profound, inexplicable, or secretive quality or character. 3. A religious truth that one can know only by revelation and cannot fully understand. Example the mystery of the Trinity. Today we will consider a mystery that has been kept secret since the world began but is now revealed as READ= Romans 16:25-27 explains. C. I Scofield states “A “mystery” in scripture is a previously hidden truth, now divinely revealed but in which an supernatural element still remains despite the revelation.” READ=Romans 16:25-27; What is this secret that was kept secret since the world began but is now revealed? The Mystery BEGINS that the Word who spoke the world into existence who created all things READ= Jh. 1:1-3, 14, 17; Paul writing to believers in the church at Closse wrote in the book of READ COLOSSIANS 1:12-19, 26, 2:2-3. READ IN FIRST CORINTHIANS 2:7-10 THE MYSTERY IS THAT GOD WOULD REVEAL HIMSELF TO HUMANITY THROUGH THE TRINITY. COLOSSIANS 2:2C “To the acknowledgement of the MYSTERY OF GOD (The Holy Spirit) AND OF THE FATHER AND OF CHRIST: (The Trinity) IN WHOM ARE HID ALL THE TREASURES OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE! HOW RICH WE ARE TO KNOW THE TRUTH THAT WAS EVEN HIDDEN TO SATAN AND HIS EVIL FORCES BUT IS MADE KNOWN TO WE BELIEVERS BY OUR LOVING ALMIGHTY GOD! This wonderful mystery becomes a reality to each born again believer as we grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom the Holy Spirit opens up our spiritual understanding and makes the truth a reality in our lives. Thus, the believer has been born into God’s family and we can call God the Father our Father for He lives in us through the indwelling Holy Spirit as Romans 8:9 explains “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ he is none of His.” Do you understand this wonderful truth, Believer? God the Father is with us all the time through the Holy Spirit thus we can talk to Him and seek His help and guidance any time. I talk to Him every time I get in the traffic here in this metro areas of 2 million people and He responds giving me guidance and peace. What a privilege it is to be a child of God!
