This unique instrument was only produced from 2005 to 2007, and it had the goal of being the one bass to rule them all through the use of the Line 6 modeling engine. Featuring 24 different preset tones, the Variax 700 was trying to provide the player with all sorts of bass tones at their fingertips... but did it succeed? No.... but it's very interesting to see how far we've come! Let's check this out!
